WATER FITNESS CLASSES

Senior Splash
This low intensity water exercise program is specially designed for our senior members. This program includes exercises that improve joint mobility and relieve pain and stiffness for those with arthritis and other bone and joint issues.

Power Waves
A high-level water aerobics program for the more advanced, Power Waves combines swimming and deep water exercise activities.

Ripples

Ripples is a fun, full-body water workout performed at a slower pace - perfect for the beginner to intermediate level. We use "noodles" and other types of resistance equipment to improve strength and endurance. You don't have to know how to swim to participate.

Water Works
A complete non-impact workout using water's buoyancy and resistance for overall body conditioning and toning. You don't have to know how to swim to participate.

ACTIVITIES FOR THE INDIVIDUAL

Lap Swim
Lap swimming offers self-motivated aerobic activity on an individual basis and involves continuous swim stroke activity for the entire pool length of 25 yards. During these times, all three lanes of the lap pool are reserved for lap swimming only. Multiple swimmers may occupy a single lane. A lifeguard is on duty at all times.

Exercise
The pool is open for members to exercise on their own Monday through Saturday except during designated "lap swim" times. However, the therapy pool is always available for member exercise and is not designated for lap swimming. The pool exercise equipment is accessible to members and unoccuupied areas of the pool are available for member use.

Lap Swim/Exercise

During "lap swim/exercise" times, two lanes of the pool are reserved for lap swimming and one lane is reserved for exercising. Multiple swimmers and multiple exercisers may occupy a single lane.

Aquatic Fitness Programming
This hour may be reserved for special regularly held aquatic programs such as adult swim clinics or water boot camp programs. If no program is being held, the pool is open for lap swim/exercise. See a fitness team member for details. Additional program fee required.

The pool is availabe for individual exercise, excluding lap swimming, during all hours of operation whenever "Lap Swim" or "Aquatic Fitness" is not designated. Members should not disturb or interfere with classes or therapy sessions being held at these times.
