ETMC Tyler welcomes first baby of new year

ETMC Tyler welcomed its first baby of the New Year at 12:42 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2009.
Tim and Erin Raines of Tyler rushed to ETMC after she started going into early labor. Her actual due date was in late January. Erin delivered Danika Paige while watching the New Year's celebrations on television. She was only in labor two hours! Danika weighed 4 pounds and 10 ounces. This is the couple's first child. They named her Danika after the Indy racing car driver. Three other babies were born at ETMC Tyler also on New Year's Day.
