Rehabilitation Facilities) to help assure we provide the highest level of care.
Every patient is a unique individual, and every disability presents its own challenges. But the fears and adjustments to be faced and conquered are remarkably similar.
Patients want to know: What will I be capable of doing? Will I be able to take care of myself? How will this change my life? Will I live normally again?
The professional staff at our rehabilitation hospital addresses those concerns through a full scope of comprehensive services and the latest in rehabilitation technology, and we look forward to working together with each of our patients in marking new achievements and reaching new goals.
Located on ETMC Tyler's Olympic Plaza Campus, the stunning four-story facility is designed to offer a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient health enhancement and rehabilitation services and programs, including:
- Inpatient rehabilitation beds and services designed for neurological and orthopedic patients (our inpatient program was the first in East Texas to be certified by Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities)
- Outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational and speech therapies, hydrotherapy, counseling/psychological services, functional capacity evaluations, impairment ratings, work conditioning and sports medicine
- Fitness facilities, indoor workout centers with a jogging/walking track, aerobic activity area, aquatics and health enhancement programs, free weights and strength training equipment
- Cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation
The ETMC Rehabilitation Center serves as the model for our system-wide network of rehabilitation programs and facilities, including outpatient rehabilitation centers located throughout East Texas and at ETMC affiliate hospitals.
