Samsung Electronics donated $10,000 to the Therapet Animal Assisted Therapy Foundation during a check presentation at the ETMC Pavilion. Matt Averitt with Samsung presented the check to Dr. Kathy Carlson, Therapet volunteer; Shari Curran, Therapet Executive Director; and Jacque Fowler, ETMC Volunteer Services Manager. Therapet uses animals in the healing and rehabilitation of acute and chronically ill patients and also attends camps and events for children with cancer, asthma, diabetes and vision impairments.
