Kelly Pierson recently joined the ETMC Neurological Institute as the American Parkinson Disease Association Inc. Information and Referral Center coordinator. She is a certified clinical research coordinator and comes to ETMC with more than five years of clinical research experience in various disease processes. As APDA coordinator, Ms. Pierson will manage communication in response to public inquiries regarding Parkinson's Disease and coordinate appropriate referrals. She will also establish and coordinate educational programs for patients, their families, caregivers and healthcare professionals. Additionally, Ms. Pierson will work with APDA-affiliated support groups and chapters and also publish a regional newsletter and develop an audiovisual library of Parkinson's support materials.
