  • Increase mobility
  • Improve strength
  • Icrease endurance
  • Gain knowledge

Prehab Program Structure

The program lasts four weeks, with three scheduled visits, including an optional exercise orientation:

A licensed physical therapist will assess your pain levels, functional limitations and program goals. You will receive a personalized home exercise program and optional discounted four-week Olympic Center membership for $20. A trained exercise specialist will assist with your exercise program and equipment orientation with the purchase of an Olympic Center membership.

At this 15- to 30-minute appointment, the therapist will receive your feedback about progress with your exercise plan. Necessary plan adjustments will be made at this time.

At this last visit prior to surgery, the therapist will provide education concerning post-surgery safety, care and pain management. This includes information about using a walker, gait training and home safety.

Your plans and progress will be reported to your physician. The program is covered by Medicare and in-network insurance providers.Enrollment for the prehab program is by physician referral only.
