During your pregnancy, notify your pediatrician's office of your expected due date so that he/she can be better prepared to care for your newborn. Otherwise, the pediatrician on-call will see your baby while in the hospital, and you may take your new arrival to the doctor of your choice upon discharge from the hospital.
