What makes the ETMC Olympic Center different from other fitness centers?
The medical fitness difference sets the ETMC Olympic Center apart from other facilities. The medical fitness difference is:
- Physician oversight for our programs, policies and procedures
- An individual approach with your fitness program
- Medical integration with our programs
- Exceptionally clean facilities
- A highly trained team of health and fitness professionals
- A focus on excellent customer service
How do I become a member?
Prospective members may join by visiting their local fitness center and completing a pre-activity screen and application for membership. Memberships are available for individuals 16 years of age or older.
How much are membership dues and fees?
At ETMC, the health and fitness of our members is our only concern. We don't consider prospective members to be a "potential sale" and we aren't trying to meet sales quotas each month. You deserve to know what you are getting for your money and we believe our facilities and fitness team speak for themselves. Please visit your local center to have one of our team members provide you with a membership fee schedule which clearly outlines our membership dues and fees.
Is my membership valid at any of ETMC's fitness centers?
Tyler memberships are valid at all eleven of ETMC's fitness centers. Cedar Creek Lake, Chandler, Hide-Away-Lake, Jacksonville, Lake Palestine, Pittsburg and Rusk memberships are valid at all other sites. Canton, Mineola and Sulphur Springs memberships are valid at those three sites only.
Is there a membership discount for seniors?
Yes! We offer discounted enrollment fees and membership rates to individuals who are 62 years and older. Contact your local center for details.
How do I pay for membership?
Monthly membership dues may be conveniently drafted from your bank account or credit card. Please have this information with you when you join.
Will someone help me get started exercising?
Yes! All new members receive a fitness assessment, exercise prescription, and fitness orientation from a highly trained fitness expert. An exercise specialist will assess several health-related fitness measures and use this information to develop a safe and effective exercise program to meet your health and fitness goals. They will also orient you to the equipment and exercises that will be part of your routine. In addition our staff circulates on the fitness floor to ensure our member's needs are being met.
