The Medical Fitness Association recognized the ETMC Tyler fitness center as an industry leader during their annual awards ceremony and conference in Orlando, Florida. ETMC was given the distinguished achievement award for serving as a benchmark in the fitness industry. “We are very pleased to receive this honor from the Medical Fitness Association,” said Jeramie Hinojosa, ETMC fitness centers director. “It’s very rewarding to be recognized by your peers in the fitness industry.” The MFA is a professional membership association and is the only organization dedicated to the medical fitness difference and integrated care as the prescription for better health. The ETMC centers are medically-supervised fitness and health enhancement facilities serving Tyler and the East Texas community. “We emphasize prevention, early detection and treatment of adverse health conditions,” added Hinojosa. “Our programs and services are delivered by a staff of credentialed and/or certified specialists in health, fitness and rehabilitation.
