Endres has been an executive with the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System since 2002. Prior to taking the helm at the Jacksonsville hospital, he served as associate administrator at East Texas Medical Center Athens. He also served as administrator / chief executive officer of the Muenster (Texas) Memorial Hospital. For THA, Endres has served as a member of the Council on Policy Development, a member of the Policy Committee on Trauma and Emergency Services and a member of the Technical Advisory Group on Niche/Specialty Providers. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas. He also holds a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University School of Law in New York.

Jack R. Endres, FACHE, administrator of ETMC Jacksonville, has been elected to a three-year term on the Texas Hospital Association’s 2008-2009 Board of Trustees. He takes office Oct. 30 during the board’s fall meeting in Austin.
