Fifteen donors participated in the Carter BloodCare Blood Drive
hosted by ETMC Crockett Aug. 23. As a special recognition to each
donor, ETMC Crockett presented a packet filled with school supplies
to each school district represented by the individual donors.
ETMC Crockett Administrator Terry Cutler said, "It is our
pleasure to have the opportunity to support our local school
districts with the donation of supplies as part of our fall blood
drive. We are dedicated to serving our community and enjoy
participating in the distribution of these school supply packets to
the children of Houston County."
Crockett ISD received nine packets. Lovelady ISD and Kennard ISD
were presented two packets each. Latexo ISD and Grapeland ISD each
received one packet.
Carter BloodCare Donor Recruitment Consultant Belinda Murphy
said, "We sincerely appreciate the community's support during our
spring and fall blood drives and we look forward to returning to
Crockett in March 2013."

ETMC Crockett employees Amy Johnson, Jewell Fennell,
Ruby Vasquez, Shirley Bridges, and Jessica Hodges collect the
school supply packets that will be delivered to Crockett
Independent School District, Kennard Independent School District,
