ETMC has won several national marketing awards including two
"Telly" awards and two "Asters" for materials produced by the
marketing department under the direction of Corporate Director
Carroll Roge' and Vice President Mike Thomas.
ETMC won a silver "Telly" award, the highest honor, for the
marketing campaign about the care Tyler Police Officer Richard
Cashell received at ETMC's Level One Trauma Center after a
motorcycle accident. ETMC won a bronze "Telly" award, second place,
for the cardiac campaign featuring Tyler Assistant Fire Chief David
Schlottach. The Telly awards received more than 12,000 entries from
all 50 states and five countries.
ETMC also won two national Aster Awards for excellence in
medical advertising/marketing. Scott Berkley received a Gold Aster
for a photo illustration for ETMC EMS and a Silver Aster for a
photo taken during a kidney transplant surgery. More than 3,000
entries were received and only 5 percent of those earned a Gold
Aster Award. All winners are published in Marketing Healthcare
