ETMC staff hosts Easter Egg hunt

 CROCKETT, TEXAS - The employees, staff and volunteers of East Texas Medical Center Crockett, ETMC EMS, ETMC Air One, ETMC Outpatient Rehabilitation, ETMC Volunteers and the ETMC First Physicians clinic have joined together to host the Second Annual Old Fashioned Easter Egg Hunt to be held on the south lawn of ETMC Crockett beginning promptly at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 7.

Weather and scheduling permitting, the Easter Bunny is expectedto arrive on the south lawn aboard ETMC Air 1 at about 9:30a.m.

Last year employees, staff and volunteers of ETMC donated morethan 7,200 Easter eggs for the festive event.

This year, staff members hope to collect even more eggs with theaddition of an internal contest between the hospital's mascots.Employees will donate filled eggs in the name of either FloridaFlamingo or Delilah Duck and the one that collects the most eggswill win a dinner with Dexter Duck.

For the past year Dexter Duck has entertained patients, staff and visitors with his holiday costumes and various adventures.

The morning of fun will include photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, balloons, face painting, a thrilling and fast-pacedegg hunt, fire truck tours, "Andy" the remote-controlled ETMCambulance, and tours of ETMC Air 1.

"The ETMC family of employees, staff and volunteers are truly an extraordinary group of people and this yearly event is merely one of the exceptional contributions they make to the community eachyear," said ETMC Administrator Terry Cutler.
