CROCKETT, TEXAS – In a special series, ETMC Crockett will highlight many of the 193 dedicated individuals who work diligently to provide quality healthcare to their neighbors in the community.

As a supervisor in the Business Office, Kay Hardy has been employed by the hospital for 19 years. She and her husband of 30 years, Ron, live at Houston County Lake.
During her employment with the hospital, she has held the positions of patient representative and billing clerk, and she has served as supervisor for the past five years.
During her leisure time she enjoys ceramics, quilting and baking.

“Kay is always one of the first to volunteer to participate in ETMC Crockett events and frequently serves on organizational committees,” said ETMC Crockett Administrator Terry Cutler.

“Kay is a real asset to the ETMC Crockett team and we are lucky to have her expertise at work in our hospital,” he added.
One great example of her willingness to help when and where needed is the community-wide Halloween event held last year at the hospital, where Kay—dressed as a bumblebee in a costume she made by hand—worked all day registering attendees.

“Kay brings a breath of fresh air to every room she enters. We are very fortunate to have her in our employ,” Cutler concluded.
ETMC is a not-for-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life in communities throughout East Texas.

Other ETMC facilities include hospitals in Athens, Carthage, Clarksville, Fairfield, Gilmer, Henderson, Jacksonville, Mount Vernon, Pittsburg, Quitman, Trinity and Tyler.
